We know that marketing is a dynamic creative process. We believe that transparency, imagination, and creation are the keys to unlocking our potential. Transparency represents the clearing away of unnatural parts of ourselves that have developed to separate us from each other and the natural world. When we are not transparently honest with ourselves we cannot see ourselves. When we are self-honest (transparent) we are then able to see (imagine). Imagination and belief are our super powers. When we envision or imagine we are manifesting (creation). We can literally create our reality. Whether we are branding a product or launching a targeted social media campaign our strategy is the same:

Transparency . the act of cleaning the lens of perception

  1. The ability to let light pass through so that objects behind can be seen.

  2. Easy to perceive (preceded by inner reflection).

We need to see ourselves and others to recognize our patterns instead of projecting them on others. We also need to be seen and appreciated, reflected and acknowledge by others.

Imagination . the act of seeing new possibilities

  1. The ability to form new ideas, images, or concepts not present to the senses.

  2. Imagination. The ability of the mind to be creative or resourceful.

We need to see past limitation to imagine the possibilities beyond. When we are imaginative, we are resourceful, envisioning creative solutions and resolutions previously unseen.

 

Creation . the act of creating what you see

  1. The action or process of bringing something into existence.

  2. The bringing into existence of the universe.

Creation is the actualization of what we have imagined. It is the ability to rearrange and redesign the resources to realize our creative potential, bringing something new into being.

Systems thinking sees the world as interconnected and interdependent, and humans as a part of not apart from this whole. We are nature.

NParadigm works with biomimicry or the copying of nature and what we call natural law, principles that govern human nature as a part of nature. Creating order out of chaos and simplicity out of complexity, these laws are universal and predictable. Though the outcomes of the laws vary, the truth of their influence does not. Instead of creating a new and false foundation, nParadigm builds upon the preexisting patterns of nature with nature. It is physics! 

 

We use an EMERGENT CREATIVE CYCLE OF MOVEMENT: Energy, Flow, Confluence, Expand. It is a deep dive in which you do not start from the inspiration of the stars in the heavens on the mountain top but at sea level, so to speak. At nParadigm we go below the surface conscious thought into the deep creative power of the unconscious. In this deep dive, the same stages apply, as we move through transparency into reflection and imagination, resurfacing with renewed creativity.

Deep dives occur throughout the process as a way to uncover underlying potential. If a problem occurs, for example, a deep dive moves from the conscious surface to the unconscious depths and back again. In this process, material comes to light that would not otherwise surface, material that emerges to contribute to and manifest the unfolding emergent creative cycle of movement.

nParadigm is a new perspective because it is based both sight, looking without and on insight or looking within. Balancing both an outward or extroverted and inward or introverted movement, nParadigm works to evolve people’s inferior or weak function—their blind spot. The word theory is based on theoria “to look,” and so we see through a theoretical lens—a paradigm in order to see ourselves and each other with greater accuracy and empathy.

Vision . sight and insight

  1. The faculty or state of being able to see.

  2. An experience of seeing someone or something in a dream or supernatural state.

  3. A guiding sense of purpose and an accompanying plan to realize this purpose.

 

How we see the world is fundamental. Sight is our interface between ourselves and the world and we see through more than our eyes. Seeing is believing because we see through the lens of our belief. Returning to the root of idea, eidos, “to see,” nParadigm sees infinite potential and infinite opportunity. Based on a world view, nParadigm reflects a quantum perspective as a new lens in which entanglement and interdependence become opportunity. This is a whole brain perspective that recognizes the parts (left) as part of the whole (right), connecting the dots to reveal the larger vision.

ECSTASY

Step aside. We believe in energy and expansive freedom, liberation of our potential! We believe that there is structure to the chaos and a method to the madness. We can intentionally enter states of ecstacy. In fact, we believe that nature is the model. We are building within that framework. We use applied physics as a methodology. We call this state of expansive freedom the flow state. Technically, flow is defined as an “optimal state of consciousness where we feel our best and perform our best.”
What does this have to do with marketing? This is the energy we all crave. It is a constellation of neurochemicals. We are programmed to want it. In Greek ecstacy (or ekstasis; ἔκστασις)  is "to be or stand outside oneself, a removal to elsewhere". It is a flow state.

We use multisensory mediums. Sound is vibrational and emotional. Sound provokes our imagination. People declare, “I see what you are saying,” for a reason. Complex structures, like groups dynamics or organizations need to be drawn or mapped out. We believe that they need to be conveyed visually. When we communicate visually we do a couple of things…

Staying centered is a matter of maintaining balance. While some models push toward short-term goals, nParadigm is built upon a principle of environmental sustainability. It is our experience that we capsize into unconscious negative behaviors when we become ego-focused, self-centered. In the nParadigm labs, the individual is centered but is not the center—the group’s core mission and purpose is the center and this is where we begin to work. Transparency is the entrance to our deep dive. The treasure is alchemical gold.

After creating a safe circle, we find the center—the guiding mission or vision of the group. This is our focus, our bull’s eye or circumpunct. In in the east it is the bindu or seed thought from which all life emerges. The symbol for the sun, gold and the realization of our highest potential, the circumpunct is how we “hold it together” when we begin to break down.

To help us achieve a new perspective of interdependence and interconnectedness, nParadigm moves from the individual to the group by using a metaphor from nature...water. Working with natural movements and biomimicry we can repattern and remember how to be in natural balance as part of a larger whole. We remember how to work in harmony as a group.

Just as water can be both isolated and interconnected, moving from above to below to create a sense of dynamic motion and momentum, we use water as a way to pattern our own movement. Water reflects the stages of our movements: energy, flow, confluence, and create. It also reflects the states of transformation that accompany this movement: transparency, imagination, and creation (creativity).

A FLUID CURRICULUM

nParadigm has created a basic EMERGENT CREATIVE CYCLE OF MOVEMENT. It is applied physics. 

Energy. Follow your interest (energy), both as an individual and a group. The first stage is to get in touch with where the energy is. Your interest will guide and teach you. You do not have to understand how or why. That will unfold. Move with the process as an emergent phenomenon that seeks a higher potential and a homeostatic balance. Trust the process, both individually and as a group, as it begins to move. Go within.

 

Metaphor: rain drop. Recognize that each member is individual yet shares a common purpose. “Drop” into your interest (project) and water it with your attention. Water is transparent. See what begins to become transparent or clear. Allow yourself to go within, immerse yourself in your interest, and be alone. Go deep.

 

Flow. Allow your energy to flow toward your project and express itself freely and imaginatively. Explore through active imagination, experiment, play, and refine your interest. Take risks, fail, and learn. Recognize synchronicities and synergies as guiding principles that move and teach you in your project. Relax into the unknown as you create new patterns and new skills. See where your imagination leads you.

 

Metaphor: river. Feel momentum build in the convergence of many drops (ideas, people). Begin to work as a group in order to refine your interest in a group process of combined interests (combined projects). How do the interests interrelate? How do the movements flow together?

 

Confluence. Move in the current of your interest, carried by its momentum. See how ideas carry you and your group together into larger confluences. Begin to play in the confluences where the streams join. See how these streams meet current needs and how the movement of the energies move as a systemic whole. What emerges?

Metaphor: Estuary. Just as the water of river flow above the ocean current, see how existing currents can support new flow. Follow the river current (changing flow of emergent opportunity) as it meets the ocean (tidal flow of funding cycles). See how the currents move creatively together. Phase: Creation

 

Expand. Build upon the energy of the interest (now group) to reinforce and expand the emergent patterns and structures that are naturally occurring. Use the raw material that has been gathered by the current to recreate, test, and refine your structure. 

Metaphor: Delta. Branch out and explore offshoots of your interest where interests converge in the collective. How do these confluences move around or remove obstacles to meet their collective goal? How does the material, carried by the water, form a structure? Phase: re-Creation

Deltas are extremely fertile, and most human civilizations have been built in delta regions. This is where the potential for new growth lies, rich with the material accumulated through the movement from drop to ocean, individual to group. While only 30% of rain makes it to the ocean and not all ideas are created, the movement of the currents meets needs along the way, just as the energy of individual interest forms ideas that nurture group growth.
